Liopropoma multilineatum

Multilineatum Reef Basslets are not deemed reef-safe due to their tendency to prey on small crustaceans and fish. These Basslets are typically shy and reclusive, though they may exhibit more social behavior in environments with dimmer lighting. Adorned with vibrant hues ranging from bright red to pink, red, and yellow, they add a splash of color to any aquarium. As carnivores, Multilineatum Reef Basslets thrive on a diverse diet of small chopped meaty foods such as fish, crustaceans, clams, as well as frozen and prepared marine foods. It's advisable to feed them regularly, in small portions every other day. These basslets usually grow to around 3 inches in size and require aquariums of at least 30 gallons or larger. In their natural habitat, Multilineatum Reef Basslets inhabit caves within coral reefs, typically at depths of up to 150 feet.
